The only definitive reference came from an obituary for the son of a previous owner, which identified the restaurant as "Joe Tarantino's of Tahoe." Gavin forwarded the obituary and contacted both the local historical society and longtime residents in hopes of uncovering additional memories, photographs, or documentation.
